FLUXUSLP

fluxusLP is a live light painting system. Movements with lights are continuously captured and layered, creating vivid, flowing trails of light in real time. These images are then displayed live, allowing users to immediately see and shape their visual creations through motion.

It was designed for flow arts, fire and light juggling, with a focus on ease of use and affordability. As a result, it can be set up at conventions, festivals, fire spaces, other training venues, or even at home—without the need to worry about expensive technology. We quickly realized that the system also works wonderfully as an interactive installation in public spaces, instantly captivating audiences and inviting them to "paint along."

fluxusLP runs on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and uses the live video feed from the Raspberry Pi camera module to generate images similar to long-exposure photography. Additional effects provide further variation of the dynamic images.
