ROBODYNAMIC DIFFUSION - Kunstverein Ingolstadt

RDD Kunstverein Ingolstadt

For a three-month exhibition at the Kunstverein Ingolstadt, an autonomous performance of Robodynamischen Diffusion (RDD) was developed. RDD moves independently through the dimly lit gallery space, interacting with the audience. Through the position, direction, and movement of the RDD sound source, the influence of the space on the sound becomes especially tangible. The sounds were researched in the urban environment of Ingolstadt and composed specifically for the performance.

RDD is a project by Michael Akstaller, Nele Jäger, and Jan St. Werner. It originated from a collaboration with Evocortex GmbH and Prof. Stefan May from the Laboratory for Mobile Robotics at the University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg. The project is supported by Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden and LEONARDO – Center for Creativity and Innovation in Nuremberg.
